Hello,

Summer is officially here! What better way to kickstart summer than to join a flash mob? To promote the Robson Square Dance Series, DanceSport BC is organizing a flash mob performance on Canada Day. The performance will be a variation of Vogue, a dance that you, as  UBCDC member, probably already know or have seen it performed at monthly Dance Club events. If you don’t already know the dance, feel free to come to rehearsals and take part in this fun event! To receive updates about rehearsals automatically, join the Facebook group here.

Now I have to insert my obligatory reminder that Summer Bronze deals are still on! Refer to the sidebar for more information on how to get a $10 Dance Club voucher and free workshop classes.

See you later at Summer Bronze!

Warm regards,

Hello,

As many of you know, the UBC Gala Ball will celebrate its 50th anniversary in March 2012. Gala Ball has created half a century of great dancing, joy, and memories for many UBCDC members. To celebrate this milestone in Dance Club history, we ask all alumni members to help us with the task of sharing the history of Gala Ball with the dance community. If you have any photos, videos, or great memories of your Gala Ball experiences, please send them to gala_chair@ubcdanceclub.com.

Finally, thanks to everyone who has signed up for Summer Bronze classes. You can still do so by arriving 10-15 minutes early to today or Wednesday’s class. Details about the location and class fees can be found further below.
