Congratulations to all of the Team Match participants, especially to our winning teams in the following categories:

It was an awesome night with great performances, demos from dancers in the community, a surprise exec skit, and a samba performance from Kyryl and Joel! If you have any photos or videos, please reply to this newsletter or email them to info@ubcdancelcub.com.
Another exciting event is coming up this Saturday: Holiday Ball! The annual semi-formal dance will be held at the Scottish Cultural Centre from 7:00-11:00pm. Be sure to buy your tickets this week as soon as possible since many of them have been sold this week!

Hello,
It may be cold and snowy (or slushy) outside but UBCDC has some great events to get you all warmed up! Team Match will be held on the upcoming Saturday on November 26th. Admission is free for everyone so bring your friends and family members. If you are not a part of a team, come and cheer everyone on!
Holiday Ball tickets will also be sold during your classes this week as well as at Team Match. We accept cash or cheque. Be sure to get yours before they are sold out!
Newcomer D will not be held this week, instead the execs will hold a guided practice session. Everyone is welcome to attend, especially if you have any particular questions or just want some extra help in general. An extra class will be held at the end of the school year so that there will still be 16 lessons in total.

Come watch all the teams perform their skits! Everyone involved has worked very hard to perfect their skits so come and cheer them on! There will also be refreshments and general dancing. This event is free for everyone, including non-UBCDC members so invite your family and friends!

In case you missed the announcement last week, Holiday Ball will be held on Saturday December 3rd at the Scottish Cultural Centre. Tickets are now available! Be sure to bring your cash or cheque to class in order to purchase your ticket. Holiday Ball is one of the most popular UBCDC events and sells out every year, so be sure to buy your tickets early! You can also arrange to purchase a ticket outside of class time by replying to this email.

Get ready for one of the craziest and fun events of the year! Team Match is a contest where you and your fellow dance club members will put together a dance-skit and peform it front of our teachers and of course, a very excited audience. Simply sign up outside the UBCDC office and we will put you in a group. Each group will have at least one exec to help coordinate practice times.
If you’re a fan of America’s Best Dance Crew, you’ll have a blast at Team Match!
