Ballroom Classes start Monday October 5th 2009 Salsa Classes start Wednesday October 7th, 2009 Registration will be open till mid October *Class times, rooms and instructors are subject to change due to registration requirements and/or circumstances beyond the Dance Club’s control.

FREE DANCE LESSON

The first week (Sept 28 and 30) of newcomer dance classes are free for anyone to attend! Come and join us. No partner, dance shoes or experience required.

Newcomer Dance Classes

Newcomer classes are designed for the absolute beginner. No partners required! Come, wear comfortable shoes and clothing, and get ready to meet new people! In addition, Newcomers have their own special practice times set aside for them.

Bronze Dance Classes

Bronze classes are at a beginner-intermediate level. To enter the Bronze level dance classes, you must have either successfully passed your Newcomer Pin Test or successfully passed an audition.

Advanced Dance Classes

Advanced classes are designed for intermediate-advanced level dancers. To enter the Advanced level, you must have either successfully passed your Bronze/Silver Pin Test or successfully passed an audition.

Auditions

Please contact Crystal Li at ivp@ubcdanceclub.com to arrange a time for an audition. Auditions are a chance for the teacher to evaluate your dancing and see if you are able to start at a certain level. No partner is required. Please note that summer bronze students are not required to audition to enter advanced. The audition date is on Sept 29th between 12:30pm-2pm (afternoon session) or 8pm-10pm (evening session) in room SUB 207/209. Please contact Crystal for exact time.
