The UBC Dance Club has a multi-level international style ballroom & latin dance program.

• Newcomer (Beginner)
• Bronze (Intermediate)
• Advanced
• Salsa (no previous experience/knowledge necessary)

Newcomer level is the most popular and comprises 40% of our membership. NO dance experience or partner is needed for this level. If you are in this level you will find that on top of learning how to dance, it is the perfect opportunity to meet new friends! Click here to see the class schedules.

To be eligible for registration in Bronze, Silver or Gold, you must have passed the appropriate Pin Test LAST YEAR or pass an audition being held in September (more on this later). Anyone is eligible to take our Newcomer class and our Salsa class.

How to Register

The UBC Dance Club will be using an online registration system this year. Please click on this link and fill out the form. Leave anything you can’t complete blank, you will be able to review your response again before your payment is processed. Once the online registration is complete, please come to the Dance Club office in room 241J of the Student Union Building at UBC along with a cash or cheque payment. We cannot accept debit or credit cards (but there are abm machines downstairs).
