- 16 weeks of ballroom dance group lessons with our established instructors
- FREE admission to our monthly on-campus dances

- DISCOUNTS on tickets to Gala Ball, Holiday Ball and other special events
Dance Parties…
Monthly dance parties are held in the Student Union Building. The club’s dances are touted as the “funnest … social” ballroom dances in Vancouver. Each dance has a theme: Welcome, Halloween, Potluck, or Valentine’s. The Club has a friendly team oriented dance and spirit competition called Team Match in November. This event is quoted by many dancers in the community to be the best dance competition in Vancouver. Monthly dances are free to all UBC Dance Club members. Non-members are always welcome but they must pay a $5 admission fee. The price of admission includes: great music, great dancing, great people, great social opportunities, great food, great fun
General membership includes all of the above except the lessons. Membership is open to everyone — students and non-students alike! UBC Dance Club membership fees are listed here »
If you are only registered for a one-term class, these benefits are only valid for that term.
You don’t need a partner to join and you don’t need any prior dance experience either.
